INDICATIONS:

–   To provide vitamin and mineral supplementation prior to conception, throughout pregnancy and during the postnatal period for both breast-feeding and non breast-feeding.  


ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:

–   Before, during and after pregnancy, one tablet daily, or as directed by a physician.


CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • It is contraindicated in the people known to be hypersensitive to any ingredients.
  • Do not use this product in association with other drugs which have vitamin A, vitamin D.
  • Contraindicated with vitamin B12: Malignant tumour due to vitamin B12 will raise the tissues with high grown-speed, resulting in tumour developments.
  • Contraindicated ferrous: Redundant ferrous in body (ferrous-infected tissue disease, hemosiderin infection and hemolytic anemia)

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

  • Accidental overdose of ferrous-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six year olds. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor.
  • Folic acid may partially correct the hematological damage due to vitamin B12 deficiency of pernicious anemia. In rare instances, allergic hypersensitivity has been reported following administration of folic acid.
  • Pregnancy and Lactation: Additional daily dose does not cause harm to the fetus. Consult your doctor before using the drug.
  • Effects on ability to drive and use machines: None reported.

SIDE EFFECTS:

  • None reported

In case of an unexpected reaction, consult your physician.


INTERACTIONS:

  • Neomycine, chilestyramin, paraffin liquid will reduce vitamin A absorption.
  • Used concomitantly Isotretinoin and vitamin A will lead to overdosage of vitamin A.
  • Aspirin could increase the excretion of vitamin C and reduce the elimination of the medicine in urine.
  • Taking high dosage of vitamin C can destroy vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin).
  • Avoid using ferrous fumarate with ofloxacine, ciprofloxacin and norfloxacine.
  • Coadministrating antacids and ferrous fumarate may increase ferrous absorption.
  • Folate and sulphasalazine could decrease the absorption of folate.

STORAGE: Store at temperature from 250C to 300C, in a dry place, protect from light

SHELF-LIFE: 36 months from manufacturing date. Do not use after expiry date.
